Conditions of Use

By using http://www.healthmakers.co.za for any purpose whatsoever, you acknowledge having read and accepted the Disclaimers, Terms and Conditions

Healthmakers is a business in the Health industry that markets Healthy Lifestyle Equipment and aligned products.

Healthmakers will supply goods in terms of Consumer Protection Act 34 of 2005.

Delivery policy

Subject to availability and/or receipt of payment or subject to conditions of agreed payment terms, requests will be processed within 7 days and dispatch confirmed by way of email.
All deliveries need to be checked for short supply, damages or defects and should be reported to us by no later than 48 hours from receipt.

Our dispatch procedure includes photographing the contents of every order as a record of what was sent out and the visual condition of the goods.

Delivery Times in South Africa

Delivery times are governed by the courier and postal services. The following are usual delivery times but not guaranteed.
Courier delivery is 3-5 working days

Orders - Change of an Order

Orders can be changed subject to the following conditions:
  • 1. Before the order has been dispatched
  • a. The product selection can be changed or the order can be cancelled.
  • b. In the event of cancellation, any bank charges incurred will be deducted from the refund of the transaction amount.
  • 2. Once the order has been dispatched
  • a. In the event of an exchange of goods, the customer will be responsible for the return and re-delivery costs.

In the event of cancellation of the order prior to the unpacking of the product the customer will be responsible for the delivery and return costs

Payment of Goods

All goods remain the property of Healthmakers until paid for.

Cost of delivery

Delivery in South Africa.

Healthmakers has the right to choose the mode of delivery for any free delivery offers. Should the customer request a different mode of delivery, a charge will apply.
Please note that once the parcel has been collected by the delivery company we are unable to control delivery times.

Delivery anywhere outside of South Africa.

For any and ALL orders OUTSIDE of South Africa, the customer is liable to get a quote from their own courier company and to arrange collection at the Healthmakers dispatch office. Healthmakers does not arrange for any delivery outside of South Africa.
No claims can be made on Healthmakers after goods have been deemed to have been collected by the customer courier company

Goods imported into foreign Countries

Goods ordered off this Online Store that are delivered to Countries outside South Africa may be subject to import duties and taxes. The price paid for the goods does not include these duties and taxes.

Tracking undelivered goods

Healthmakers will make every effort to retrieve goods and/or make valid claims on SAPO or Healthmakers' insurers for the benefit of the customer should dispatched goods go missing. This, however, does not itimate in any way that Healthmakers accepts liability for the loss of goods after they have been dispatched for delivery to the customer.

Note: A delivery being delayed is not grounds for return or refund.

Returns Procedure

A Return Authorisation form must be completed before goods can be returned, irrespective of the reason for the return. Should it be necessary for the goods to be returned, Healthmakers will supply a Returns Authorisation No. Any goods that are returned without a Returns Authorisation No. and do not qualify for return/refund status will be held pending payment of delivery for the return of the goods to the customer. On receipt of a Return Authorisation No. the goods may be returned. In the case of warranty or refunds a copy of the invoice/sales receipt MUST accompany the goods. Books, CDs and DVDs may not be returned.

All products carry a 3 month warranty, from the date of the repair done.

General Returns Information

If the product is found to be damaged or defective due to no fault of the customer, the item will be repaired, or replaced if it cannot be repaired. Any damaged or defective products should be reported by the customer within 48 hours of receipt of the goods.

Goods returned for Credit:

You will need to provide your original invoice, so please keep this in a safe place. Goods returned will attract a 15% handling and restocking fee.

Warranty and Repair Returns Delivery and Charges

  • 1. The customer and Healthmakers pay for the goods to be returned to an address designated by Healthmakers on the following basis:
  • a. When the product is 3 (three) months old from the date of purchase, Healthmakers will pay for the delivery costs.
  • b. When the product is 6 (six) months to 1(one) year old from the date of purchase, Healthmakers and the customer will share delivery costs equally.
  • c. After 1 (one) year from the date of purchase, the customer will pay full delivery costs.
  • 2. Goods are deemed to have been returned to Healthmakers, to an address designated by Healthmakers, on POD (Proof of Delivery) by a signed delivery note/waybill or other document proving delivery.
  • 3. Healthmakers will charge the customer for sanitising equipment that is returned for repair in an unsanitary condition (whether or not the product is under warranty).

Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

Notwithstanding, and in addition to any other provision in Terms & Conditions Agreement, you agree that we will not be liable to you or any other person for any loss, damage, expense, or other amounts incurred, savings foregone, or hardship suffered, by any person however arising (including where the cause cannot be determined), or whether it arose directly or indirectly from any authorised or unauthorised use of, access to, reliance on, or any inability to use or access this Site, the Services, or as a consequence of such use, access, reliance, or inability to access, including, but not limited to any loss relating to one or more, or a combination, of the following:
  • 1. a failure, or error in the operation, of all or any part of this Site, our computer systems, network resources, the Services, or any other computer systems or network resources to which they may be connected or upon which they may rely, or the taking offline of any of those computer systems or network resources for any reason
  • 2. any circumstances which produce or have the consequence of producing a degradation, fall-off, or complete severance of access to this Site or network resources or any other computer systems or network resources to which they may be connected by any person;
  • 3. whether we or another person could have foreseen such a loss or type of loss, or were negligent or reckless, whether or not the loss was suffered in connection with a business or commercial enterprise, including, but not limited to, any economic or consequential loss or damage, any and all damage to, or loss of, any equipment, property, data, or other information possessed by you or any other person, any loss of profits, and any losses relating to contracts, business, revenue, goodwill, or any anticipated savings;
  • 4. any personal losses or hardship, stress and anxiety, nervous shock, or other personal suffering or condition;
  • 5. any errors or omissions in any documentation or other literature provided by us, any errors or omissions in any data, on this Site including prices, or any breach of contract or negligence on the part of us, our employees, agents or authorised representatives;
  • 6. any reliance on, the information and material contained on this Site about any goods and services or any other information or material whatsoever, or any information and material contained on, and the privacy of, web sites linked to this Site
  • 7. Healthmakers provides an optional courier service for collection and delivery of items in need of service/repair. Should the customer choose this third party service the liability for any damages, loss of goods etc. will be transferred from Healthmakers to the customer

Customer privacy policy

Healthmakers shall take all reasonable steps to protect the personal information of users. For the purpose of this clause, "personal information" shall be defined as detailed in the Promotion of Access to Information Act 2 of 2000 (PAIA). The PAIA may be downloaded from: http://www.policy.org.za/attachment.php?aa_id=3569 Your information to register on healthmakers.co.za is considered to be private and is kept on a secure server. Your information is used by Healthmakers for the purpose of processing your orders, and to notify you of products or special offers that may be of interest to you. Customer information will never be sold to a third party.

Payment options accepted

Orders from South Africa
Payment may be made by EFT into the Conglomus FNB account, the details of which are provided at the Store Checkout.

Orders from all other Countries
Payments may be made by EFT into the Conglomus FNB account, the details of which are provided at the Store Checkout. All bank charges for EFT to be for the account of the customer. Items will only be released once the amount reflects in our Bank Account.

Credit card acquiring and security
Credit card transactions will be acquired for Healthmakers via a bank approved payment gateway (MYGATE is currently available) that use the strictest form of encryption, namely Secure Socket Layer 3 (SSL3) and no credit card details are stored on the Healthmakers website.


Healthmakers takes responsibility for all aspects relating to the transaction including sale of goods and services sold on this website, customer service and support, dispute resolution and delivery of goods.

Country of domicile

This website is governed by the laws of South Africa and Healthmakers chooses as its domicilium citandi et executandi for all purposes under this agreement, whether in respect of court process, notice, or other documents or communication of whatsoever nature as 118A Plein Street, Utrecht, 2980. You agree that any claim relating to healthmakers.co.za and our service can only be dealt with in a court in Utrecht in the Province of KwaZulu Natal, South Africa. Variation: Healthmakers may, in its sole discretion, change this agreement or any part thereof at any time without notice.
