AlphaAqua Big Blue Water Purifier Checklist

AlphaAqua BIG BLUE WATER FILTER PRE-PURCHASE CHECKLIST

The AlphaAqua Big Blue Water Purifier provides an economical and dependable household water filtration system that provides purified water to all water outlets in the house.  The “Big Blue” (as it is called) has been well tested and is an excellent efficient product. Since it is a completely non-electrical unit there is nothing really that can be faulty and each part comprising the assembly is manufactured identical to the next from moulds ensuring consistent quality standards. In the unlikely event of it been shown that there is a manufacturing fault, Healthmakers will replace the faulty part.
A person qualified to deal with plumbing, this usually being a plumber, must install the Big Blue. The unit is supplied with a diagram to make the installation as straight forward as possible. If the diagram is followed the Big Blue will provide good pressure, and clean filtered water to all the indoor household water outlets.
Only an incorrect installation or a non-compatible plumbing system will lead to this product not functioning properly.

Problems from this Water Purification system not functioning correctly can arise from one of the following:

1.     Not removing the plastic that is covering the filter cartridges.

2.     A lack of water pressure or excessive pressure from the water supply itself.  The water pressure should be tested before the Big Blue is considered for installation.

3.     Incorrect installation

4.     Any unrealistic expectations of the Big Blue E.g.: installed in a small hotel or lodge with too many water outlets.

5.     Where an existing property has been extended and the plumbing is supplied from two or more sources.

6.     The Pressure Reducing Valve, (PRV) is incorrectly set by the installer/plumber.

7.    The filter housings split only due to excessive pressure. They are tested to 5 bar.

8.    Too little pressure will result in very poor water delivery especially noticed in a shower .

Please go through the checklist  before ordering the Big Blue water filter to ensure that fits your requirements and the water supply environment.
