Delivery policy
Subject to availability and receipt of payment, requests will be processed within 7 days and delivery confirmed by way of email confirmation.
Orders
-Change of an Order
Orders can be changed subject to the following conditions:
1. Before the order has been dispatched
b. In the event of cancellation, any bank charges incurred will be deducted from the refund of the transaction amount.
b. In the event of cancellation of the order prior to the unpacking of the product the customer will be responsible for the delivery and return costs and a restocking fee of a maximum of 15% of the value of the goods.
Cost of Delivery
-Delivery in South Africa.
Many of the products include the cost of ‘courier delivery to the door’ for delivery addresses in South Africa. Spares, Accessories and lower cost items can usually be included with ‘free delivery’ cost items. The Shopping cart shows the delivery options and the costs on checkout. Where terms such as 'includes delivery anywhere in SA' are used this means any address that the delivering courier service deems reasonable. Where customers live in remote areas they should make arrangement for goods to be delivered to an address in the nearest town.
-Cross Border Delivery.
The ‘documentation’ charges for courier delivery to border countries that include: Botswana, Lesotho, Namibia and Swaziland is included in the quotation for delivery.
-International Delivery
Air and Surface mail postage delivery service is available through SAPO (South African Post Office). The facility for insurance is available to selected countries only.
-International Delivery by Courier
All countries (excluding Botswana, Lesotho, Namibia and Swaziland) that require delivery of their order by courier should arrange for collection of goods by their own appointed courier.
Delivered Status
Goods are deemed to have been delivered by Healthmakers when there exists:
1. A waybill, addressed to the consignee, signed by the collecting courier company
2. A receipt from SAPO (South African Post Office)
3. A signed delivery note for road deliveries
4. A signed delivery note or waybill for collections arranged by the customer.
No claims can be made on Healthmakers after goods have been deemed to have been delivered.
Goods imported into foreign Countries
Goods ordered off this Online Store that are delivered to Countries outside South Africa may be subject to import duties and taxes. the price paid for the goods does not include these duties and taxes.
Insurance on Delivery of Goods
Healthmakers will make every effort to retrieve goods and/or make valid claims on SAPO or Healthmakers’ insurers for the benefit of the customer should dispatched goods go missing. This, however, does not intimate in any way that Healthmakers accepts liability for the loss of goods after they have been dispatched for delivery to the customer.
-Delivery within South Africa
Postal items are insured up to the maximum value offered by SAPO and are subject to SAPO’s terms and conditions.
Goods sent by courier are subject to the following conditions of insurance:
a) In the event of the goods being hijacked, there is no insurance cover available
b) In the event of the goods being lost or stolen in transit the excess payable by the customer for the replacement of the goods is R500.00. This option is only available within the borders of South Africa.
-Delivery from South Africa to Botswana, Lesotho, Namibia and Swaziland
Postal items are insured up to a maximum value offered by SAPO and are subject to SAPO’s terms and conditions.
-Delivery from South Africa to all other International Countries
1. The onus is on the customer to confirm whether postal insurance is available to the country of delivery before the goods are dispatched.
2. Make arrangements for their own insurance.
-Insurance for customers goods on Healthmakers premises, for repair
Should goods be lost or damaged by theft fire or by any other reason, Healthmakers will pay the customer a sum representative of either:
a. The value paid out by Healthmakers insurers OR
b. A percentage of the purchase price as a value calculated as the relationship between the age of the the item to it’s life expectancy.
- Warranties are between the customer and the manufacturer.
Healthmakers does not imply any other warranty or guarantee on the products it sells. Healthmakers do not make any claim as to any product we sell further than what the manufacturer states. There are no other warranties, expressed or implied, made on any item. We do not sell or accept used merchandise; all mechanical problems fall under the manufactures’ warranty.
Return and Refunds policy
The provision of goods and services by Healthmakers is subject to availability. In cases of unavailability, Healthmakers will refund the client in full within 30 days. Cancellation of orders by the client will attract a 7% administration fee.
-Returns Procedure
A Request for a Return Authorisation No. Form must be completed before any goods can be returned. A Return Authorisation No. must be obtained before goods can be returned, irrespective of the reason for the return. Any goods that are returned without a Returns Authorisation No. and do not qualify for return/refund status will be held pending payment of delivery for the return of the goods to the customer. On receipt of a Return Authorisation No. the goods may be returned. In the case of warranty or refunds a copy of the invoice/sales receipt must accompany the goods.
Books, CDs and DVDs may not be returned.
General Returns Information
If the product is found to be damaged or defective due to no fault of the customer, the item will be repaired, or replaced if it cannot be repaired. Any damaged or defective products should be reported by the customer within 48 hours of receipt of the goods.
Policy for Returns for Monetary Refund
We offer a seven day money back guarantee on all goods that:
a. Have not been in contact with food, water or any other substance
b. Are in their original packaging with a sales receipt.
c. Are not damaged.
All items returned for refund undergo an extensive and thorough inspection. Goods that are not in a re-saleable condition will not be credited and the cost of returning the goods back to the customer is for the customer's account.
Warranty and Repair Returns Delivery and Charges
1. The customer and Healthmakers pay for the goods to be returned to an address designated by Healthmakers on the following basis:

Payment options accepted
- Orders from South Africa
Payment may be made via Visa, MasterCard, credit cards or by EFT or direct deposit into the Healthmakers bank, or Post Office account, the details of which are provided at the Store checkout. We do not add a surcharge on credit card payments.
- Orders from all other Countries
Payment may be made via Visa, MasterCard, credit cards or by EFT into the Healthmakers bank account, the details of which are provided at the Store checkout. We do not add a surcharge on credit card payments. All bank charges for EFT to be for the account of the customer.
Credit card acquiring and security
Credit card transactions will be acquired for Healthmakers via PayGate (Pty) Ltd who are the approved payment gateway for Standard Bank of South Africa. PayGate uses the strictest form of encryption, namely Secure Socket Layer 3 (SSL3) and no credit card details are stored on the website. Users may go to www.paygate.co.za to view their security certificate and security policy.
Customer details separate from card details
Customer details will be stored by Healthmakers separately from card details which are entered by the client on PayGate’s secure site. For more detail on PayGate refer to www.paygate.co.za Merchant Outlet country and transaction currency. The merchant outlet country at the time of presenting payment options to the cardholder is South Africa. Transaction Currency is South African Rand (ZAR).

Healthmakers takes responsibility for all aspects relating to the transaction including sale of goods and services sold on this website, customer service and support, dispute resolution and delivery of goods
